APHRODITE MELON

Savory, sweet and aromatic this melon is simply wonderful, this may be why it was named for the Greek goddess Aphrodite. Large melons 6-7 pounds each are produced on shorter, more compact vines making this variety a good choice for smaller spaces. The ribbed fruit with strong netting, and sweet, juicy, creamy peach-orange flesh is said to have a honey-like flavor. Early maturing, great for breakfast, dessert or as a snack, this large melon is the perfect pick to enjoy and savor. Easy to grow, it's heat tolerant, humidity tolerant, and resistant to Fusarium Wilt Races 1 & 2, and Powdery Mildew.
